Sensei Peter Lachance
Sensei Peter Lachance combines lessons he's learned teaching Shotokan karate with decades of leadership experience from running businesses.  Karate and business have a lot in common; that’s why millions of businesspeople read books like, The Art of War, written 2,000 years ago by Sun Tzu. 

Peter started taking karate classes several decades ago, and he's been teaching Shotokan Karate for 20 years. One of the most commonly shared truths between the worlds of karate and business is that people get promoted and achieve success when they get rid of unproductive – sometimes destructive – habitual behaviors and replace them with winning ones. Whether running a business or a family, or learning karate or golf, poor habits will prevent you from getting to where you want to be. 

Peter has been a business performance and executive coach for 20 years, working with hundreds of entrepreneurs, business owners, and the leadership teams of sizable corporations. He's held three "C" level jobs, including Chief Operating Officer, Chief Executive Officer and VP-HR and Chief Learning Officer.  He earned an MBA in Organizational Behavior from RPI.

By request, Stevens Institute of Technology, one of the most respected engineering universities in the US, made Peter an adjunct professor for one semester to relieve a course professor who had fallen ill.  The class was comprised of a small group of hand-picked top students who sought to learn how to be great leaders, helping to ensure their success in business after graduation.

Peter has devoted his life to teaching his business clients and karate students how to transform themselves into successful yet humble business leaders, fathers, mothers, husbands and wives.
